A Day in the Life

A typical day for Mr. Gallagher entails walking around the facility to make sure that the plant is running as it should. He ensures that everything is safe, runs lab samples on anything from the process wastewater to the bleach, and ensures that we are providing accurate percentages for the various customer specifications. 

Besides having worked in manufacturing for most of his career, Clyde enjoys buying and fixing up properties. He enjoys learning how to do the work, getting a new tool for the job needed, taking things apart to see how they work, and watching videos that help him learn new skills. He is also interested in health and wellness and is a strict follower of the keto diet.  

“Clyde knows his job very well and is very dependable. He works a lot of overtime and is very willing to stay over or come in when we need someone,” says Duane Mitchell, one of the shift supervisors in Delaware. When asked what Clyde enjoys about his job, he says “I like the free coffee. It keeps me going.” But all jokes aside, he also notices that Kuehne is constantly investing and expanding. This, along with seeing all the trucks coming in to pick up products, provides a feeling of security for him.  

Attention to Detail 

Mr. Joe Wilson, Production Supervisor, states “I have worked with Clyde Gallagher for many years, and one thing I know about Clyde is that he is a very detail-oriented employee who is always willing to help out no matter the task.” He adds “Clyde will get the job done the right way.” 

Delaware Plant Manager, Mr. Dave Ramsey, says that “Clyde is a very smart and reliable employee, his knowledge of the plant is remarkable. He is one of those employees that you never have to tell him what to do. Clyde is a self-motivated team member and a joy to work with.”
