Kuehne Donates Lab Equipment to Local High School

by | Jul 22, 2022 | Announcements, Community | 0 comments

Kuehne Company recently received a letter of thanks from Mr. Leo Macdonald M.Ed., an AP® Chemistry and Chemistry Teacher at New Hope Solebury High School in New Hope, Pennsylvania.

When Ms. Azade ZareTabibi was updating Kuehne’s lab equipment, she arranged to donate soe used equipment to the school. She also identified some other items that she thought would be useful for the school and added them to the donation. Some of the items included a used lab oven, volumetric pipettes, Erlenmeyer flasks, graduated cylinders, hydrometers, an old PH meter, glass stoppers, and used auto pipettes.

Plans are being discussed to have the chemistry club visit Kuehne’s South Kearny facility on a field trip, or for Ms. Azade to attend the school as guest speaker once classes resume.

Many boxes of lab supplies were gathered for the donation.

Inspiring Young Chemists

Mr. Macdonald points out that the items donated by Kuehne “will be used in our classrooms to create a better and more authentic learning environment for our chemistry students.” We are happy to help inspire the next generation of chemists with real-world lab equipment that is often too costly for schools to acquire.
