2023 Summer Lab Intern
My experience working as a Lab Intern at Kuehne Chemical Company was an ideal summer internship. All the employees I met at Kuehne were so genuinely friendly and supportive, and I felt very welcomed into a fun and fulfilling work environment.
In particular, I enjoyed working with Gaby and Dave in the lab and learning about the daily process and operations of the plant. I was not only able to gain a lot of hands-on experience by being encouraged to try as many lab procedures as possible, but a lot of attention was given to make sure I understood the principles and reasoning behind each test.
I felt like a valued team member. I was pushed to think critically and learn as much as I could such that I furthered not only my chemistry knowledge but also my general professional skills in a way that I feel will concretely enrich my abilities in any future career path I take.
Overall, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work with such a team.
